| February 13, 2004 | Today I've created a new "explaination" page that covers how I figured out some of the dates that aren't mentioned in the book. Later today, I plan to add a scan of one of my copies of the book to the Book section. Most importantly, though, last night I recieved an e-mail from an individual who's grandfather sailed with Frederic Riker and recieved an autographed copy years ago. Big thank you to that person. |

| February 12, 2004 | Basic site navigation is complete. Almost every page actually has something on it! Tomorrow I plan to add a scan of one of the book covers, plus more "explaination" pages that cover the logic beind some of my dates/locations. Also, I have discovered that the underwater volcanic upheaval Riker describes (see point 9 on the Timeline Page) was most likely an aftermath of the Novarupta eruption in 1912. |
